Are you asking b/c you are thinking about doing the business side of it or b/c you are wanting to make a purchase? I have never used or sold Herbalife products but in my estimation it’s just like any other company with a product whether you buy it in the store or order from a salesperson. Buy the product you are interested in and if you don’t like it send it back. I am sure they have a return policy like any other company. You won’t be out anything by trying it.

For an MLM / Network Marketing opportunity to work you need Affordable Products That Sell Well And Marketing Systems That Work !!
1. You need products that sell like Chocolates at Easter-Time, Toys at Christmas, Turkeys on Thanksgiving or Cold Drinks during a summer heat-wave.
