Usana Review–An Honest, 3rd Party Review of Usana

affiliated with the company now.) I was brought into the company after reading a

I approachedthe Usana opportunity feeling more excited about the potential for financial freedom and residual income than I had ever been in my life. I thought that I was entering a surefire path to prosperity.

As it turned out, this was not the case. I gave up after just a few months, feeling pretty dejected and upset, as I had literally given the business my all, but absolutely nothing was working to sponsor people into my downline.

I spent a few hundred bucks buying leads off the internet. I made a big list of everyone I knew and pitched the biz opp to many of them. Believe it or not, I went so far as to prospect at fast food restaurants!. I was hungry for positive results. But man, these experiences were very painful and did not product any results.

Herein lies my main criticism of Usana– the marketing support I received was very, very ineffective. I was told to do things that clearly weren’t working for my upline either. As I exited the company, I remember that feeling of complete bewilderment as to how anyone could be successful trying to build a business this way.

Aside from the poor marketing training, I could never get all that excited about the Usana product line which consists of nutritional supplements and various skin care products. Having a background in alternative health, I was concerned that the company uses some binding agents and cheap fillers in some of their nutritional products, yet they charge top prices.

This is a major issue for health and wellness companies like Usana. Many of them have products that are clearly overpriced for the quality one receives. It is hard to succeed in a company if you can’t get 100% behind the product. That was my experience with Usana.

I do believe Usana has a great compensation plan with the binary model. It is one of the best in the industry, but if you have a hard time recruiting new distributors, it is a moot point. I think it is true that the older, more established companies like Usana are harder to make serious money in.

The Usana community and mission was something I was proud to be a part of. I could tell the company is generally comprised of good people who really buy into in the positive impact the company is making. Was this enough to make me want to stay? No.

7 years later I have learned a lot about building a network marketing business. I think if you’re going to do it and you want hugeresults, you have to learn attraction marketing and how to use the internet. That is what I do now and I am generating results that I could notcome close to with the marketing tactics I was shown by my Usana upline.

To summarize, if you are interested in Usana, just make sure that you are very, very clear about the level of marketing training you’ll be getting
from your upline. Also be sure that you are really knowledgeable about the quality of the products and that you feel their benefit firsthand.

Many people do find massive success in Usana, but the vast majority make less than $10,000 in the opportunity. Most of your success comes down to one word: marketing. Respect that truth and you will be successful.
