Revealed: the Amazing Secret That MLM Companies Don?t Want You to Know

Hello, fellow network marketers. How’s it going today? Are we all positive and hopeful about our futures? Or are we frustrated? David and I used to be VERY frustrated. We’ve been trying to make MLM work for years. We tried four or five different companies over the years and each time we’d start a new MLM we were sure THIS was the one. The products were great (everybody needed them), the compensation plan was great, and the leaders were making lots of money. We saw pictures of their mansions and their Ferraris. And of course, it always made sense to us that if we could just sponsor 3 who would sponsor 3 who would sponsor 3, we’d be rich in no time. We just needed to find the right 3 people.

But, naturally, we never could find those right 3. And when we didn’t, our sponsors would tell us to make another list of 100 people and they made it seem like it was our fault, that we hadn’t worked hard enough or we were doing something wrong. But you know what? The 3 x 3 x 3 system doesn’t work! It NEVER has and it never WILL! In the 40+ years of MLM there isn’t ONE documented case where a network marketer has signed up 3 people who have signed up 3 who have signed 3 and so forth and made the type of income MLM companies promise. Not ONE!

Now maybe 40 years ago those who started MLM companies really thought that would work, and maybe it did work for a while. But, after 40+ years of failure, today’s MLM companies know that it doesn’t but they keep feeding us the same malarkey. Why would they do that? Because it works for them and the few leaders at the top. Your failure guarantees their success.

Studies show that the average newbie in any MLM lasts 90 days. When he or she doesn’t start to make that promised fortune, he or she quits. But, three things happen in that 90 days that benefits the company and the top 5% of distributors. First, the newbie spends hundreds if not thousands of dollars on products, training tools, and company literature. The sponsor and the company make bucks off the newbie.

Secondly, the average newbie recruits 2.5 new distributors. What happens to YOUR recruits if you quit? They move up a level and now belong to your sponsor. If your sponsor quits, they move up another level. They can eventually move all the way up into the direct downline of the company leaders. That’s how they build a huge downline. Through your efforts, not theirs.

About this time you’re probably saying,” but when I quit, my downline eventually quits too”. That’s true but the same statistics apply to your downline. Each will stick around for 90 days or so, spend hundreds of dollars and recruit an average of 2.5 new distributors. After 5 generations of this type of recruiting due to your initial efforts, your sponsor now has 244.14 new distributors without doing a lick of work himself and you are long gone. Each of these newbies is now spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars on products, training videos, and supplies. THIS is one of the most important secrets MLM companies and their top distributors don’t want YOU to know.

The third part of this secret is that 17% of those who join any mlm continue to use the products or services even when they quit being distributors. This is how the company builds its customer base without spending a dime of their own money on advertising. They are spending your money instead of theirs.
